Hospital and Healthcare

Swan Hills has top-notch health care and emergency services.  The Town has two Doctors, which is virtually unprecedented in a community of its size.  Unlike many larger centres, the wait time to see a Doctor in Swan Hills is usually very short.  The Swan Hills Healthcare Centre is an acute and palliative care facility.  Services offered include 24-hour emergency, palliative care, lab and x-ray services and a detox program.

A medical clinic operates out of the centre Monday to Friday, as well as the Community Health Unit.
