Wildfire Update. 6:50 pm
The wildfire northwest of the Town of Swan Hills is approximately 16 km from town. Heavy equipment and hand crews will continue to work into the evening. The wind is forecasted to slow overnight picking back up into the morning tomorrow.
The fire department as well as fire resources from our neighbors continue to work to provide protection as required in the community. (Thank you to all outside areas who have sent resources).
THE MANDATORY EVACUATION IS STILL IN EFFECT.
